Outing/Zoo Visit

The girls at the rehab center enjoyed a special outing on January 3rd. Since most of them are from Kalikot, we decided to take them to the zoo, located just a 30-minute drive from the center. The girls were filled with excitement as they had never experienced a visit to a zoo before. Upon arrival, they eagerly began taking pictures, capturing the moments with great enthusiasm. The visit to the zoo was a completely new experience for all of them, and their joy was evident as they marveled at the animals in captivity.

For many of the girls, seeing the animals up close was a source of amazement. They were particularly struck by the wild animals they had only heard about back in their village. Some shared stories about their encounters with wild animals in the jungle while doing outdoor chores. These girls spoke about how they often came across animals such as tigers or bears, which sometimes led to dangerous situations. They revealed that animal attacks on humans were not uncommon in their village, making their visit to the zoo even more extraordinary. The experience was a memorable and eye-opening one for the girls, leaving them with happy and unforgettable memories.
