Medical Camp-2024

On October 24th, SDF Nepal organized and conducted a general health camp for the girls residing at the rehab home. The primary reason for holding this health camp was the ongoing health complaints many of the girls had been experiencing, particularly frequent headaches and stomach aches. These symptoms were recurring, and it became apparent that their conditions required attention. To address this, we decided to set up a camp where they could receive proper medical check-ups and necessary treatment.

As the camp unfolded, we quickly discovered that a significant number of the girls were dealing with issues related to gastritis. This condition was the root cause of the severe headaches and stomach aches they had been enduring. Gastritis, which causes inflammation of the stomach lining, can lead to discomfort and pain, and it was clear that this had been affecting the daily lives of many of the girls. Those who required immediate care were provided with treatment according to the doctor’s prescriptions to help alleviate their symptoms and manage their condition.

Additionally, during the health screenings, we learned that one of the girls was suffering from a severe skin condition. She needed urgent medical attention, so we arranged for immediate treatment. Thankfully, after receiving the necessary care, her skin condition improved significantly, and she has made a full recovery. Today, she is not only feeling better physically but also expressing her gratitude for the support and care she received during this time. This health camp proved to be an important step in addressing the medical needs of the girls, and it brought noticeable improvements to their well-being.
