“Transforming Hardship into Hope: Ninda’s Inspirational Journey”

Ninda, a 23-year-old, grew up in an orphanage after losing her father during her childhood. She has no memories of him. Raised by her mother alongside her younger brother, Ninda’s early life was marked by extreme poverty. The family often lacked proper food, a stable place to sleep, and Ninda did not attend school. Frequently ill, Ninda’s mother, unable to afford medical treatment, resorted to taking her to witch doctors. Reflecting on her childhood, Ninda describes it as a period of profound misery and hardship. Eventually, she discovered that her mother had also passed away.

Today, Ninda lives with her older brother and his wife. She finds joy in singing, reading novels, and gardening. Ninda is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Kathmandu University, where she stays in the college hostel. She is in her first year of studies. Ninda is also a recipient of our educational scholarship, which has been instrumental in enabling her to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse. This support has provided her with the opportunity to build a better future, overcoming the challenges of her difficult past.
